Ridiculously hazy, almost fully opaque golden, straw yellow coloured body with a thin, fairly fast-dying off-white head, only a single centimetre tall. Aroma of grass, citrus, grapefruit, light resin, flowers and a touch of pepper - almost all hop scents aside from the mellow malt, some light alcohol and a lot of fruit-based sweet scents. Medium-bodied; Great dry and floral hoppiness up front with some light perfume and then a good amount of both balanced malt and citrus notes with lemons and grapefruits and a soft sweetness from the fruits, but relatively focused on the hop bitterness. Aftertaste is rich - mainly dry, but also a touch floral and very citrusey, all with some good malt, alcohol and especially fruity notes, with good hop bitterness from the alpha acids, throughout. Overall, a very nice hazy IPA. My first sample from this brewery - but a good representation of the style, which is good since they represent New England anyways! Great to sample, especially fresh. I sampled this 16 ounce can, purchased from the Department of Beer and Wine in Alexandria (Potomac Yard), Virginia on 11-April-2020 for US$5,30 sampled the same day at my house here in Washington on 11-April-2020.

Pours hazy straw into a shaker. White head with little retention recedes to hug rim. Pineapple and mango aromas. Soft with yeast and pineapple upfront turning to dry passionfruit and pith in the medium length.

4 oz. at the source. Pours hazy golden with small head. Aroma is super fruity, citrus, tropical fruits, mango, maybe grapefruit. Flavor is pretty balanced, citrus, tropical fruits, mango, milled grain. Finish is sweet and bitter with fruit overtaking the palate. Overall: very good, enjoyed it.

Taster pour at the brewery. Appearance is cloudy yellow like grapefruit juice with slight greenish tinge, ring of white head and minimal lacing. Aroma is tropical fruit, pine and grapefruit. Taste is grapefruit and pine. Palate is medium bodied with thick texture, soft carbonation and grapefruit/pine finish. Overall, I wish the tropical fruit from the aroma had translated to the taste. Decent.
