A yeast-driven, fruity and mellow. Belgian-style ale. Low bitterness ensures high drinkability. Explore for hints of clove and honey, before a subtle tart finish.

Can from the brewery online shop as ''Fogline Witbier'' which is worth mentioning since this brewery seems to have brought out several beers of different styles under the same beer name, which is fairly confusing. Appearance - cloudy yellow with a big, fluffy white head. Nose - definitely getting the expected dried orange and coriander seed. Also, a creamy banana wheat thing going on. Taste - creamy orange, banana and light spice, possibly coriander seed. Palate - light bodied, creamy in texture. Dry, spicy finish. Overall - quite nice.

Keg at Drift, Poole. Dark gold and very very gassy with a firm white head. Hint of Belgian yeast on the nose, a touch of funk. Semi-sweet taste with a drying note in the finish, some spice in the yeast but it's fairly tame. Mouthfeel is as gassy as it looks. Not overly exciting.

Bottle from the brewer's own stand at the Bath Christmas Market. Lightly hazed golden-amber with a light fizz and a thin white head. Caramel and spice. Honey and white bread. Like their Belgian Winter Ale that I'd had just before, it's a little mild in flavour, but it's quite well balanced and drinkable. It just needs a bit more oomph.

Poured from gravicask at The 25th Maltings Beer Festival. Tiny white head, clingy lacing, clear amber in body colour. Honeyed sweet fruity nose. Blended flavour of spiced fruit, honey and yeasty fruitiness towards the ending. Rounded mouth feel. Pretty alright. (Newton Abbot 28.04.2017).
