Similar to the gruit " Coniferale " I had sample just before this at the brewery, I will say all Alex did was swap out the spruce (that was in the gruit) for Amarillo hops. This works much better for my personal taste buds. The appearance is a hazy brighter yellow color with a good amount of foam on the top. Aroma is pine, mild citrus, and a light floral note.

The addition of the mild citrus is a welcome addition to the pine, floral, and herbal notes. Not one flavor overruns the others, they are married pretty well. The mouthfeel with the body has a light softness to it. Nice over the tongue. Pretty decent drinkability to this ale.
