4 ounce sample at the source. Appearance is a deep brown with ruby highlights, light cap of head. The aroma is spruce tips and Pine, like walking around in an evergreen forest. The body is lighter than it looks, rides the lighter side of medium.
The flavor is all pine and spruce. It reminds me of going to a Christmas tree farm in my childhood years. Searching the land with my mom and dad for the perfect tree to cut down for Christmas. It is a wonderful memory, but for the beer it is all pine and spruce influenced. Not bad at all, just very one dimensional.
