Bottle. A- Tangy, oak, A- Black color, black liquid, light brown head. T- Tangy, oak, mild vanilla, subtle cocoa. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, O- Lots of funky oak. This beer should not have been barrel aged. The barrel completely overpowers the base beer and you taste nothing but barrel. It’s not even boozy, just lots of tangy oak and tannins. Could be a lot worse but it’s a beer that just should have been barrel aged. Almost tastes infected but it’s not.

22 oz. bottle. Dated 12-5-16. Acquired in a trade. Thick for mocha colored head on top of a very dark brown liquid. Aromas mild vanilla, like chocolate and some funky Oak.
The flavor is oak heavy, mild vanilla through the sip and ending on mild chocolate. The body is medium with a fuller mouthfeel. Big dry oaky texture. Interesting brew, enjoyable.
