[2/2/17] Draught at Row 34 in Boston. Golden. Fruity hops, a bit of sweetish malt, bitter finish. Nice.

16 oz. can thanks to Willrunforbeer for the share. The canning date of: 12-22-16. $7.50 a can for a session IPA? Really?? WTF? The aroma and flavor are a direct reflection of themselves
Pale grain backbone with the body not ever becoming thin or watery like many session IPA’s can be. Citrus, pine and grass is abundant nuances. Bitterness is lingering and ends crisp with the same citrus and grass. Very well done for a session IPA but a bit crazy on the price. Well crafted but I guess craft beer has gotten stupid with price points.

16oz can from CBC H Street pours a dark orange with a light haze and some lacing, white head. Nose has orange juice, honey comb, heavy pine and soap, some mild herbs too. Flavor is bitter with soap and pith, mild malt, some biscuit undertones, a little kumquat too. Full bodied and bitter. Funny because this drinks MUCH bigger than 4.6%. This reads more DIPA than session, despite the ABV.

Poured from can dated 12/22/16 purchased from Julios hazy golden orange with a nice white head. Aromas of citrus piney hops grass scallion and floral notes. Taste is tangerine grapefruit pith floral tones scallion and resinous hop in the finish. Nice beer but at 7.50 a can might pass.
