Fruity aromatics followed by a well balanced malt profile with a dynamic hop presence. This light amber lager was brewed in the tradition of San Francisco style "Steam" beer.

Far right draught, 7/9/26.
Hmm, that's very estery and lightly phenolic. Had to make sure this was the right beer at first. But it is warmer fermented so I guess there's your answer. And it doesn't smell problematic, just much fruitier than expected with some light banana and a touch of clove. Balanced maltiness with big bread and hints of caramel.
Less yeasty in flavor; just a fruitiness that complements the big malt and hop. Peppery and satisfyingly bitter with nicely attenuated malt. Bread, light caramel, light honey. Incredibly flavorful and drinkable.

An while watching a pretty good Korean movie I stumbled upon. Been awhile since I had this style and since anyone else rated this beer. Clear amber color and a beige head that dissipates. Nose is some toasted caramel. Tastes the same hint of fruit. Smooth palate. Good version of style

4 oz. Taster at When Pigs Fly. Clear amber with a small, but lasting off-white head. Aromas of toasted malt, carmel, and a bit floral.
Palate was medium bodied and crisp in texture. Flavors of toasted malt, yeast and some floral hops with a weak, bittter finish. It is what it should be.
