Can pour into nonic pint glass from Greg & Jane's Beer and Wine. Appearance is cloudy, pale yellow with greenish tinge (urine-like) with decent sparkle, finger-width, fizzy white head with poor retention and no lacing. Aroma is wheat, mild clove and bubblegum, tart yeast. Taste is bubblegum, tart yeast, ginger, wheat. Palate is medium bodied with frothy texture, lively carbonation and dry mix of sweet, bitter and tart. Overall, the aroma and taste differ as ginger waits to appear until the taste. Not the boldest aromas/flavors but nice nuances in aroma and flavor if you look for them.

Draft @ Thirsty Moose tap house, Manchester Location on 18 June, 2016. Hazy golden straw color, full head with lacing down the sample. Nose is large amount of fresh ginger root with clove and bubblegum as an afterthought.

The bartender gave me a sample blind and I had no idea what it was. The traditional yeast esters are masked by the ginger. Yet, the malted wheat base, clove, and some spicy yeast does show itself. Medium in body, has a smooth creamy mouthfeel. I now understand why the brewer at Hobbs had to brew another batch of this beer, people want it for a summer drinker. Pretty refreshing!
