16 oz. can. Deep red color with light of lacing down the glass. Aroma is toasted caramel, English toffee and an earthy hop element.
The base is mostly caramel malt and toffee. It displays an earthy pine or citrus hop in the finish. The caramel / toffee really over takes the hops. This doesn’t have any real issues to write about… just a very simple beer.

On tap at The New England Taphouse Grille. Comes to the table a slightly hazy deep reddish brown with a decent sized ff white head that dissipates rather quickly. Aromas of caramel and light brown sugar with bits of earthy citrus hop. The flavor is lightly sweet dark sugary malt with plenty of earth and citrus to counter.Medium body with a moderate level of carbonation. Standard red ale, serviceable but not horribly exciting.

Pours ruby-tinged mahogany into a Sam glass. Off-white soapy head recedes leaving spider lacing to mottle surface. Earthy manure, caramel and bread aromas. Sweet caramel and toasted nuts upfront turning to roasted pine in the lasting finish.
