Pours a slightly hazy amber from a bottle, thick pillowy head with lots of lacing. Aroma may be subdued by the head, but kind of vomit-y a little bit. Flavor is sort of a general citrus/pine, I’m not sure if it’s Simcoe or not, rather hop-forward pale ale without much malt backbone. Okay beer. I feel like it should be a little more stand-out, but I feel like Brewmaster Jack’s beers can be hit or miss and sometimes even infected.

650 ml bottle purchased at Kappy’s. Cap reads 05/04/2015, there is a spot on the label for a date but the brewer puts a sticker on the cap for some reason. Color is mostly clear gold, spotty lace over the snifter. Aroma is light pine with a pretty good dose of sweet grain and mild orange.
After two plus months in the bottle it seems too sweet. Notes of tangerine, orange and some mild pine hints. Did this hop profile fall off this fast? I feel the pine should be bolder. Good without question, easy to drink, no flaws... Just very mellow.

Poured from bottle dated 5/4/2015 on the cap. Hazy golden copper color with a nice lacey white head. Aromas of pine spice and light toffee. Taste is nice and clean woodsy pine with a slightly herbal finish. A nice drinker for sure.
