This was poured into a tulip.
The appearance was a hazy burnt golden orange color with a one finger white foamy head that dissipated at a nice pace. Concave foamy white lacing sticks to the glass nicely.
The smell takes in sweet biscuity to bready aromas bouncing into subtle citrus, sweet rye and spicy peppercorn. Bright grassiness rounds out the aroma.
The taste takes in the previously mentioned flavors to enhance the sweet bready / biscuitiness. Definitely sweet bready aftertaste runs into the finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium in body with a fair sessionability about it. Carbonation runs pretty light allowing the breadiness to want to be slightly sticky.
Overall, I’d say this was an absolutely wonderful saison that I would have again.

Draft Three Penny Taproom. Straw color with slowly fading carbonation. Aroma has strong yeast, light hay, mild floral type hop. The thing about the flavor I like most is the peppercorn is subtle. Yeast, peppercorns and hops are balanced well. Short abrupt finish that end clean.
