650 ml bottle purchased at Merrimac Liquors. The bottle has no date anyplace on it. The appearance is a totally cloudy, dark, dirty orange color with some head floating on top. Aroma is lightly floral with some fruity hints from the yeast.
The grain and yeast make the mouthfeel chewy and full. The flavor starts with the grain with thick yeast presence. Finish shows floral and bitter pine like hops that gives a medium level of lingering bitterness. I feel like this is a difficult hybrid style to pull off. It’s not an IPA and it’s for sure not a saison. Overall it’s not very cohesive, the flavors are in battle with themselves.

Pours murky caramel into a shaker. White soapy head with good retention recedes leaving spider lacing. Bubblegum and banana aromas. Dry and sweet with bubblegum and clove upfront turning plastic before the medium length finish.
