Draft pour at Dunedin Brewery. Pours a dark reddish brown color with a quick fade head. Sweet caramel, vanilla toffee aroma. Dark fruit and sweet malt flavor. Grape like fruit. Hints of cocoa. Dry finish. Fun take on the scotch. Good stuff.

Sample at the brewery. Dark brown color and ruby when held to the light. Aroma is caramel, figs, mild vanilla. Body is normal with smoother carbonation. Flavor is along the same line with a light lingering vanilla hint.

My first Dunedin rate in god knows how long. Yes!
Poured up on tap at the brewpub where it exhibits a clear deep copper body that supports a thin light tan head. The aroma offers up minerals and juicy smelling berry infused sweet dark fruity esters. The taste starts with earthy minerals, cherry candy and then plum and berry juice. Interesting. The mineral note drops off pretty quick leaving sweet dark fruity esters that have a lingering fruit juice notes and a bit of a dry sensation.
