Draft from the source. Orange / amber color with fluffly lasting head. Aroma is lager yeast, pilsner malt and old caramel malt. The body and flavor is what you look for in the style. Caramel and sweet malt that tastes old with the yeast throughout the sip turning moderately sweet. Finish is sweet yet clean. Pretty much spot on for the style!

On tap at the source. Comes to the table in a dimpled mug a medium amber color with a thinnish white head that was almost gone before I could get my hands on the glass. Smells of spicy floral hops, pilsner malt and a hint of sweet bready malt. The flavor comes mostly from the pilsner malt with just a hint of bready caramel sweetness that are countered with a bitter spicy hop bite. Medium to light body with a light to moderate level of carbonation and a sweet spicy mouthfeel. This one was only ok for me. It felt more like a bohemian pilsner as it was hoppy for the style and seemed to be missing that burnt sugary melanoid malt flavor that the best examples of a marzen have.
