LSAT Freedom Trip #144. Keg at the brewpub. Dark reddish brown, thin fizzy off-white head, fair retention. Aroma of spice, tart grapes, earth, wood. The taste is herbal notes, toffee, grapes, spice, dandelion, honeysuckle. Medium bodied, low carbonation, mild lingering spice.

Draft @ EE. Aroma is spice, sugar and grape juice. Flavor is green moss, lavender, somewhat of berry other than grapes. And of course the grapes are here. Sometimes I have a hard time describing these gruits…. Lightly bitter and sweet with a light tingle on the mouthfeel. Medium body and interesting.
