Summatime session ale is golden rays of sunshine in a glass. This beer is sure to bring a glowing smile to your face. It is best enjoyed with hiking in mountains, cruising the lake, hanging at the beach, and grilling in the backyard or at a campground. This truly is New Hampshire Summer in liquid form, now say it like a local, it’s Summatime!... Brilliant light golden color bursting with notes of meyer lemon, grapefruit zest, navel orange, and a hint of sweet cherry.

Merland's Tap and Table draught, 6/6/26.
Not a huge nose; maybe some light yeast, sponge cake and lemon. But clean enough.
Similar in flavor. A bit bland with more texture than flavor. But there's enough bitterness, with a lemony flavor and lots of white bread character. Kept waiting for the flavors to deepen/intensify, as it warmed, but they never did. Herbs and lemon lingering. At least it's not thin/watery.

Can to becher.
Appearance: clean yellow transparency with a one finger white foamy head that slid off to leave some messy lace
Aroma: corn sweet with some grassy to citrusy to pine hop tone coming in slightly
Flavor: meshes the prior noted aromas together moderately; slight aftertaste of corn, clean grassiness and pine
Texture: light bodied, sessionable; smooth along the tongue; crisp finish of corn and piney/resin tones
Overall: I'd say it works as a session ale, I could see coming back to next to the grill or doing some fishing, and just straight outa the can if I had this again.

From my brother: pours copper with a white head. Aroma is piney and lightly citrusy with some spice in there. Pretty standard APA. Ok.

Taster pour at Sierra Nevada Beer Camp Across America. Appearance is hazy, light yellow with finger-width white foamy head. Aroma is resin and pine. Taste is same as aroma with some corn chip, balance of sweet and bitter. Palate is light-to-medium with thin texture, soft carbonation, finish is slightly bitter corn chip and pine. Overall, a pretty tasty brew but trends more toward IPA than APA.

Draft sample @ the brewery. Cloudy gold with lively carbonation. Aroma is grain and a large kick of citrus hops. Taste upfront is a huge amount of citrus hops, lemon and traces of herbal / earthy hops with some bite in the finish. Bitterness lingers for a long duration after the swallow. Highly hopped and a nice summer thirst quencher.

Bottle at the Southern New Hampshire Brewers Fest 7/26/2013 Pours a hazy medium gold color with a decent sized white head that persists forever. Light citrus with a spicy wheat coriander and honey like malt going on. Flavor is similar to the aroma. Medium body with a light level of carbonation and a sweet slick mouthfeel. Not my favorite beer from them, I thought it was kind of spicy for my tastes.
