Sampled on draft this beer poured a dark brown color with orange highlights and a medium sized foamy beige head that left a bit of lacing. The aroma was cry, woody, nutty and had a hint of smoke. The flavor was dry, woody and nutty with hints of smoke, dark fruits and cola. Medium length finish. Medium body. Pretty blah basic brown ale.

Draft @ the Holy Grail. Murkey brown color, with lasting head retention. Nose is spicy Belgain yeast and burnt caramel malt. Medium body with a dry spicy texture. Flavor is yeast forward with toffee and caramel playing a second fiddle. I killed my 16 oz. Pint glass really quick, so that does say something positive. Or maybe I’m becoming a lush like many other raters on this site..?
