Draft @ The Tap. Very lightly hazy, pale yellow-gold body with light carbonation producing a cap of foam. Thick retention. Aroma has a malty grain with weak hoppy hints. Real clean flavor, with some sweet malt, light grassy hops and notes of hay. A rather dry finish. Spot on for the style. Nice recreation of the German style.

A pale blond kolsch with a thin white head. In aroma, a sweet malt with light corn notes, chalky, so-so. In mouth, a sweet cloying chalky kolsch with grainy character, perfume, overall, cloying. On tap at Lord Hobo, July 15, 2012.
