Pig’s Ear Fest. Cask. Clear deep amber beer, small pale tan head. Palate is light and semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Thin malts, mildly bitter toffee. Mild floralness. Modest ripe fruits. Light semi dry finish. It’s fine with no obvious flaws.

Cask gravity at the 2016 pigs ear beer fest. A dark brown with reddy hues and a loose lasting light tan head. Aroma is brown sugars, twig, molasses, liquorice, and hints of woodland fruit. Flavour is composed of semi sweet malts, bitter harsh liquorice, burnt toffee, charred wood, dried fruit palate is light, sugary, lowish carbonation. No bad.
