On tap at the source. Comes to the table in a glass I’ve never seen before, looks like a slender shaker pint that flares wider in the middle but still remains skinny. Dark brown color. Rich caramel and chocolate with hints of nutmeg and cinnamon. Big sweet beer, but nice to sip on for a while.

Draft @ the brew pub. English pint shows a deep mahogany color with foamy, thick head. Nose is all spice, ginger and cinnamon. Taste is much the same with a real nice caramel malt backbone. Taste is the same with an element of dark fruits. Texture is on the light creamy side. Medium body with my overall option being good. Nice enough flavor.

A dark ruby amber ale with a thin light moka head. In aroma, a rather chalky spiced nose, with good fruity esters, dark fruits. In mouth, a rather thin and astringent brew, with pumpkin spices, ginger, cinnamon, something wrong with this one. On tap at brewpub, Dec. 27 2009.
