Belgian and Canadian malt, European hops (Saaz and Styrian Goldings), and Belgian yeast. The yeast provides a slight refreshing tartness, while the hops are the subtle and classic European variety. About a pound per barrel of hops, of which 75% were for dry-hopping, and this will certainly mislead you. These hops do not dominate the beer nor overwhelm with bitterness, but they just sit there in the background, reminding you they are there to help the dry, refreshing finish. Sorry, that last bit got showy.

22 oz. bottle purchased @ Julio’s Liquors for $4.24 after Wild Six discount. English pint shows me a slightly hazy gold. Very thin white head with mild retention. The nose is a pleasant Belgian yeast and grassy type hop aroma. Taste is real impressive for what this style is. Zesty yeast, light bready malt and a hop nuance in the finish. Light bodied. A session beer indeed!

A hazed blonde ale with a thin off white head. In aroma, smooth herbaceous malt with light fruity esters, and light Brett. In mouth, a light refreshing powdery malt with light fruity notes, not bad. On tap at Somerville Summerfest, July 14, 2012.

Pours deep gold into a Sam glass. Off-white head quickly recedes leaving scant spiders. Sweet yeast and banana aromas. Dry with nuts and hay front to back. Medium length bitter earth finish.
