Draft. Hazy gold color. Nose is fresh citrus hops and a note of pine. Light malt is present however; the hops are the focal point. Fresh wet hops. Citrus and pine like the nose. The bitterness does not linger, short ending. Dry texture. The brewer calls this APA, dude tastes like a good IPA on my palate!

On tap today at the source. Pours a hazy medium golden color with a decent sized off white head that displays minimal retention with decent lacing. Smells of bitter pine with hints of citrus and little to no malt presence. Taste is harsh piney citrusy bitterness that lingers long into the end of every sip. Quite a drying enamel melting finish. Taste again has little to no malt presence. Medium body and carbonation level with a resinous almost sticky mouthfeel. The brewery calls this an APA, that is quite a stretch! It’s IPA if not a double although it might be a shade or two darker than guidelines. I found this to be flavorful, but the bitterness is a little bit harsh.

A golden amber IPA with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, light floral hops with pinhey notes, very subdued. In mouth, a grainy malt with some pinhey hops, not bad but some light acidity points notes. On tap at the brewpub, April 5, 2010.

growler-pours a rich light tan head that laces and gold color. Aroma is great resin/pine/leafy hops, some medium malt back bone. Taste is somewhat bitter-raw/resin/pine/leafy/lemon hops. Good carbonation. Thanks to kwatts1014 for picking this up on her trip to NH.
