Keg at the brewpub, 8/14/16. Hazy golden, large creamy off-white head, good retention. Aroma of doughy malt and mild citrus. The taste is citrus and toasted pale malt. Thin bodied, crisp.

Sample at the brewpub. The beer pours a clear yellow-gold color with a medium white head that dissipates to a film. Spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma of hops, bready malt and fruit. LIght body with flavors of grassy hops, bready malt and a bit of fruit. The finish is mildly bitter with a short herbal hops aftertaste. Slightly above average overall.

Not a huge fan of this one. I had it a little later in the tasting and after a bunch of big stouts and IPAs, just didn’t really measure up. I’ll try it again in the future and update the rating.

Enjoyed on tap as part of a sampler at Ale Asylum in Madison, WI. Appearance is a light pale yellow, thin white rim. Aroma of ale yeast, light straw. Taste nice and crisp, light, good, nothing out of the ordinary, just a standard but good blonde ale.

A nice crisp blonde ale, with lean, crackery malts, and an assertive hop bite on the back end - a little bready through the middle, but mostly clean and refreshing, with a nice peppery kick to it - finishes dry - there are a lot of people hating on this beer, but I really liked it.

Bottle. Hazy sediment-laden light yellow-orange body, thin off-white head. Biscuity aroma with lemony notes, yeasty. Wet socks underneath the more pleasant components. Light bready, lemony body, dominated by yeast, the light sweet malt and grassy hops subtle.

Thanks to Skyview for sharing. This isn’t bad. Probably the best blond ale I have had. Cloudy gold color, minimal head. Aroma and flavor are of fermenting grain, which actually works for this beer.
