Very solid Imperial Stout, eschewing any overbearing liquor-induced sugary decadence for a straightforward strong dark-roast dryness. Pours a lovely black with a healthy brown doughnut on top, and the nose is all mocha stout loveliness. Hits with a chunk of smoky java bitterness, then rounds out to a mild cherry-tinted middle before fading into a dry espresso finish. Tasty, and the manageable ABV (for an Impy Stout) means you can go back for more.
