Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, dark malt, wood - barrel, alcohol - sweet alcohol - rum. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration, sweet malt, dark roasted, dark malt, wood - barrel, alcohol - sweet alcohol, buzzy. The Polish and German night. Craft Clerkenwell. With Travlr and ChrisO. Keg. Oily looking black - brown beer, no head. Palate is smooth with modest super fine carbonation. Smooth dark malts with a mild tang. Touch of dark chocolate. Nice mellow rum soaked dark fruits. Light finish. It’s not the sumptuous palate I would like but it’s tasty and pretty drinkable.

Tap (4Hops, Wroclaw). Piwo o ciemno-brunatnej barwie z bardzo delikatnymi, rubinowymi refleksami pod swiatlo, bezowej pianie, calkiem obfitej ale szybko redukujacej sie do cienkiego kozuszka, brak lacingu. Aromat z wyrazna nuta rumu, srednio intensywny i nie za wiele sie tu dzieje poza slodycza i alkoholem. W smaku bardzo zbieznie, gdzie glowna role graja nuty rumowo-alkoholowe i bardzo subtelna nuta czekolady po ogrzaniu ale daleko, daleko w tle. Piwo z cialem choc o wodnistej konsystencji jak na swoj ekstrakt, rozgrzewajace z wyrazna slodycza na finiszu, ktora dokladnie oblepia podniebienie. Nie jest zle ale do wersji po bourbonie nawet nie ma co porownywac, zdecydowanie za duzo rumu/alkoholu, ktory dokladnie przykrywa wszystko inne. Na plus na pewno mozna zaliczyc gladkosc piwa i niezla pijalnosc mimo wyraznego alkoholu ale za duzo to nie zmienia.

Keg at CBC Clerko, 02/10/15. Dark mahogany brown with a moderate tan covering. Nose is rich malt, light spice, rum tones come through, chocolate fudge, sweet, wooded twist. Taste comprises chocolate, caramel, subtle barrel, rum licks, dark fruit, trace of liqourice. Medium + bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with warming alcohol resident. Ok impy but far from polished.

Keg at CBC Clerkenwell - London. Pours deep brown with a creamy tan head. The aroma has dark fruits, sugary chocolate, soft roast. Medium sweet flavorbwith burnt toffee, dark fruits, dates, some stewed apples, plum, cocoa. Medium to full bodied with fine carboantion. Lightly warming to finish, lots more dark fruits, chocolate, plums, figs. Dry aftertaste. Very tasty stuff.

Draft. Opaque brown black, flat. Aroma of vanilla, booze. Taste has rhum up front, dark roast, plums, raisins, dark fruit. Boozy.
