Bomber pours deep copper with a bit of haze and off white head. The aroma has decent strength with citrus, near grassy hops mixed with stale wet cardboard maltiness, cherries and faint caramel. The taste is much the same starting with a pulse of hops and cherry cough syrup and mild stale maltiness. By midway the hops grow to become pine and grapefruit as a modest roasted malt note is noticed. It ends stale, mildly hoppy and with the hops lingering into the after taste.

Bottle from Bottle Barn; Nose is caramel, and buttery popcorn; lightly hazed amber with a medium beige head; flavor of caramel, hop bitterness and a small amount of diacetyl butter. Finish is a little bit of hops.

Aroma of caramel malt. Reddish amber color with an off-white head that’s insubstantial. Thin to medium bodied. Moderate carbonation. Starts with caramel malt, and it is not accompanied by a great deal of bitter. The hops seem floral. Some nuttiness comes forth toward the finish. The finish does end rather dry, and it has a very little bitter. Even a slight touch of citrus may be there. All in all it is rather mild and malty, but that’s the way an amber usually is.

Deep cranberry tinted amber coloured body with a super thin off-white head. Aroma of fresh hops, some deep malt and a bit of caramel. Medium-bodied; Sharp hop bittering taste with some caramel and malt also prominent. Aftertaste shows a good balance of hops and malt with some sugars too. Overall, a good red & much better than a lot of others in the style. I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased from Chevy Chase Wine & Liquors in Washington, D.C. on 31 May 2005.

Bottle pours a light amber/orange with a small white head and no real lacing. Light malty and hop aroma with a woody, slightly carmely/ grapefruity flavor. Feel was light a bit thin and quite lively. Nothing too special.
