Old rating from 12-07-15 - From the cask at the Lamplighter in St Helier, Jersey. Pours amber with a white foamy head. Aromas & tastes of citrus, flora, herbs, juniper & malt. Moderate body. Light bitter finish. Very enjoyable

Cask at the Old Manor (JDW), Bracknell. Pale amber with a trace of white head; fruity floral aroma with perhaps a trace of citrus; thin and sweet in the mouth with a woody herbal taste that didn’t really do anything for me; followed by a dry finish with the juniper coming through. A pleasant change from the usual citrusy summer ales.

Cask @ Palladium JDW, Llandudno [080615]
Golden, clear, thin white head
Aroma of soft herbal notes, slight house yeast, light
Taste is spicy, soft pale malts, grtting hint of ginger?, mellow spices, interesting soft flavour, soft floral notes, soft herbs, light caramel, no Marstons yeast, taste better than the nose
Palate - Medium body, smooth, quite oily, good mouthfeel, soft herbal ginger. Finish has a dab of pale biscuit, smooth.
Overall - Didn’t get the rosemary, more a gingery herb, but liked this
