MAL trip: day 9/12 - 1602’s wheat beer is nowhere to be found so I’ll rate this one instead: a Vietnamese macro inexplicably popular in Kuching, Sarawak - two small cans poured into a beer mug, enjoyed after lunch at the Green Hill Corner food court. Aroma: fresh and grassy, a little sour. Appearance: lightest of light amber, head dissipates in a jiffy. Palate: light-bodied and slick, softish carbonation; no lasting impression. Taste: medium-sweet with a noticeable tart hit, corn and cardboard; better than water.
