Keg at the Euston Tap, 16/09/15. Light golden with a decent off white covering. Nose is straw, lemon rind, bread dough, grain, light Kellogs trace. Taste comprises more soft bread, wheat, light citrics, freshly cut grass, pale malts, toasted popcorn. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying with a little hop injection. Decent clean pils.

Old Fountain. Keg. Lightly hazy paleish gold beer, small white head. Palate is light and minerally crisp. The pale malts bring a modicum of creamy sweetness but that is soon swept away by strong floral bitterness. A whisper of citrus underneath. Crisp and bitter finish. A very clean and notably bitter lager. Nice.

Keg at Mother Kelly’s. Pale golden coloured pour with a light haze and a lasting white head. Aroma is really fresh and delicate citrus hop, pils grains, background tropical notes, fruit salad. Flavour is crisp clean grains with a light straw, rustic character. Hops are lemon rind citrus and a little grass. Palate is light and crisp, refreshing highish carbonation with a stop dead clean finish. Slightly numbing on the tongue. Super sessionable. Good stuff.

Tap at brewer, 12th September 15. Pours slightly off clear, Aroma fairly interesting for a lager, taste is full and crisp, good hops, not bad

On tap at the brewery. A hazy straw pour with a ring of white head; the aroma is floral and lightly fruity; crisp and refreshing taste - you could say typically pilsner - but also slightly sour and fruity, with some citrus, apples and pear; then a long lingering bitter finish that makes this stand out from the crowd. Very good, but unlikely to catch on with a mainstream pilsner drinker!
