The barrel is the star of the show here - prominent BA notes throughout, and finishes pleasantly boozy.

Bottle for Billy's 40th Bday Celebrations. It pours oily jet black with the a small dark tan head. The aroma is sticky, oily, dark roasted malt, charred, umami, burnt toast, bourbon soaked oak, umami, marmite, fudge brownies, vanilla, toasted marshmallow, chocolate sauce and mars bar. The taste is smooth, bitter - sweet, dark roasted malt, fudgey, vanilla, marshmallow, rocky road, warming booze, chocolate sauce, bourbon soaked oak, toffee, vanilla fudge, warming booze, sticky and filthy with a slick finish. Fulsome body, fine carbonation and slick mouth feel..

750mL bottle, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma is rich, with tons of complex roast, dark sugars and bourbon. Flavour is remarkably complex, with an exquisite smoky whiskey barrels, bourbon, medium roast, and burnt sugar. Super complex barrel character. Incredible.

It’s not on the same level of the 2021, lacks thickness, sharp and alcoholic, cinnamon,

0,75l bottle at home during Charity Tasting. Black color, small dark coffee colored head. Smells cinnamon, bourbon barrel, wood, bit boozy, nice to very nice smell. Full body, soft carbonation. Tastes bourbon, vanilla, nutty, spices, light cinnamon. Finishes lightly sweet with notes of cinnamon, spices and bourbon notes. Lovely beer, rather intense

750mL bottle at the Cellar, 1/16/25, shared by Dani and Henkka.
Clear, dark. Small head.
Deep, subtle, spicy, lots of black pepper. Like it hasn't unleashed itself yet, but still interesting and developed nonetheless.
Rich, chocolatey, fair amount of soy and vanilla. Chewy, yet not syrupy, which is interesting. Kind of love that they've moved away from the syrupiness. And yet it's full of malt and rich pepper and Willett craziness. No alcohol. Still a bit subdued. Great but will be as good or more than the other vintages, I think. Another year or so...
