Sample at Denver Rare Beer Tasting XVI (Last Call) on 10/09/2025. Inky black pour with a medium khaki head that diminishes steadily to a dense film. Patchy lacing. Bourbon, malt, chocolate and vanilla aromas. Full-bodied with flavors of oaky bourbon, bittersweet chocolate, roast malt and sweet vanilla. The finish is oaky vanilla and bourbon. Very good beer all around.

Bottle for Billy's 40th Bday Celebrations. It pours oily jet black with the a small dark tan head. The aroma is sticky, oily, dark roasted malt, charred, umami, burnt toast, bourbon soaked oak, umami, marmite, fudge brownies, vanilla, toasted marshmallow, chocolate sauce and mars bar. The taste is smooth, bitter - sweet, dark roasted malt, fudgey, vanilla, marshmallow, rocky road, warming booze, chocolate sauce, bourbon soaked oak, toffee, vanilla fudge, warming booze, sticky and filthy with a slick finish. 750mL bottle, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma is rich, with tons of complex roast, dark sugars and bourbon. Flavour is remarkably complex, with an exquisite smoky whiskey barrels, bourbon, medium roast, and burnt sugar. Super complex barrel character. Incredible.
