Taste comprises biscuit malt, fruit esters, hint of caramel, grains. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok bitter.

Growler shared at the Columbus tasting 23/05/2019. Many thanks! A clear mid amber coloured pour with a loose off greyish head. Aroma is rwiggy, brown toasted malts, grassy hop, dried raisin, nuts. Flavour is composed of dried toasted malts, light oxidised, grassy hop, hedgerow, grain tanin, light chalk. Palate is dry, and light, mellow carbonation, grainy. Meh.

Cask at Tring brewery, Tring, Herts. A golden/amber coloured pour with a small white head on top. Hoppy, malty, fruity, caramel aroma and taste. Not very inspiring.

Growler shared in London - cheers to Fergus. Pours clear gold with a small bubbly head. Not bad, some leafy hops, English yeast, grainy malts. Light bodied with fine carbonation. More yeast finish, leaves, toasted grains. Fine.

Level 6 bottleshare. Thanks to Fergus for the bottle. Clear amber beer, no head. Light palate, reasonable fine carbonation. Light malts, trace of caramel, tangy. Bitterish orange peel and mild dried fruits. Finishes with tangy floral bitterness. Okay, robust bitter.
