Cask at Slaters, Stafford Pours a very dark red brown with a small beige head and good lacing and low carbonation. A vague chocolate aroma leads to the mouth which is sweet asnd creamy. Choclate and mint are both there, combining like After Eight mints. Finish is minty but also slightly osur and peppery. Nice enough, but a bit of a gimmick.

Cask at Pigs Ear 2015 - London. Pours clear brown with a mild, off-white bubbly head. The nose holds faint rubber, toast, cocoa, only mellow impressions of mint. Light sweet flavor with earthy bitterness, a bit more rubber, vague chocolate. Light bodied with fine carbonation; so so condition. Bitter earthy finish with notes of char and rubber - no mint to speak of. This one doesn’t really deliver.

Gravity dispense at Pigs Ear ’15, 04/12/15. Mahogany brown with a decent beige covering. Nose is mint chocolate chip, dark malts, cocoa rub, light menthol. Taste comprises mint and pea soup, a little washed through, faint chocolate, spice. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, drying close. So so, a touch harsh and disjointed.
