Harking back to the first Holy Goat brew, this version comes 4 years and one hundred beer releases later. A brooding heavyweight of an Imperial Stout inspired by an 18th century recipe for Courage Imperial Stout. This beer features large quantities of charred and roasted malts, balanced by layers of dark crystal malts and a touch of smoke.

Bortimot svart med beige skum. Lukter røstet malt, kaffe og mørke frukter. Semi-søt. smaker røstet malt, lakris og svisker.

Svart med lys brunt skum. Lukter søt lakris og sjokolade. Smaker noe salt lakris, mørk sjokolade og mørke bær. Middels lang.

440ml can. Pours jet black with a small head. Aroma is woody dark chocolate and roast. Taste has roast and yeasty dark chocolate with a touch wood.

440ml. Opaque colour, small brownish head. Roasted-toasted aroma has tiny bit of smoke and wood. Medium to full-bodied. Roasted, robust, liquerish palate, sweetness, smoke, wood. Lots of brown sugar flavours. Hides ABV. Good but not the real top notch one.
