We’re turning eight, and we’re celebrating in style! We’ve brewed three brand-new birthday beers that will delight your taste buds. To show our appreciation to our amazing team here at Brew York, we asked them to vote for a brand-new pale. A DIPA was selected as the most favourable style, and APPRECI8 was born!

Join us in celebrating by checking out our other Birthday beers COLLABOR8 and PARTICIP8.

Keg at BrewDoge Clerkenwell, 17/01/2025.
Looks like a re-rake from a tasting last year ... oh well ... backloge has landed here first.
Murky orange with an off white cap that thins to a swirl.
Nose is pine needle, grapefruit, dank spike, ripe tropical fruit esters.
Taste comprises bitter orange, pine needle, melon, raw pineapple, grass.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close splashed with juicy come lightly resinous hop bitterness.
Tidy enough DIPA if not from the top drawer.

Can. Bright clear burnished gold beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Light palate, mildly dry, reasonable fine carbonation. Light malts, a grainy cereal sweetness. West Coast style hoppage, light pine into bright but ripe orangey hops, touch of peel bitterness. Light and semi dry finish. I deliberately drank this after 2 Track DIPAs to see if my perceived gap in quality would materialise. I need not have second guessed myself, the difference was not subtle.
