The next in a long line of lagers brewed with heritage malts, Heritage '75 is a Pilsner brewed in collaboration with the lovely people at Clapton Craft in London utilising the German barley variert Alexis, first grown in 1975 and used widely in the brewing industry for decades. The team at Clapton Craft decided on using the German hop Spalt Select for this to create a dry, herbal Pilsner with a long, bitter finish.

Can from Appellation Wines. Appearance - pale yellow and bright. Nicely proportioned white head. Nose - floral and lightly herbal, then bitter salad. Taste - green beans, more bitter salad, creamy custard, then hemp cleans out the finish. Palate - light bodied with persistent bitterness on the finish. Overall - great example of the style.
