26/2/2022. Bottle shared with the ITFC boys at the Morecambe tasting. From Sir Toby's Beers, Norwich. Pours bright gold with a large frothy white head. Aroma of citrus, sweet malt, grass, orange, biscuit, straw, touch of herb. Moderate sweetness and bitterness with light citrus tart. Moderate body, slightly oily, average carbonation. Nice bitterness to finish.

500ml bottle delivered from the brewery and drunk at home. Dark gold and clear with a small white head. Grass and apricot on the nose, with a tiny bit of pine. Bittersweet with an intense bitterness later in the sip. Citrus, more grassy notes. Soft carbonation is just enough to give it a bit of zip. There isn't a whole lot to it, it's just a very well-made pale.
