Can. Hah! Right then the hops. Amarillo, Bru-1, Citra, Dana, El Dorado, Falconers Flight, Galaxy, Huell Melon, Idaho 7, Jester, Kazbek, Loral, Mosaic, Nelson Sauvin, Olicana, Perle, Rakau, Queen of Jasmine Tea, Sabro, Taiheke, Ultra, Vic Secret, Waimea, X033, Yakima Cluster and Zappa. There's yer A-Z of hops! Except.. Falconers Flight is a blend, Cluster is well .. Cluster, even if it does come from Yakima Valley and best of all, Queen of Jasmine Tea, is tea and not a hop at all! Still, good show! It's a hazy orange gold beer, with a decent pale cream colour head. Smooth palate, quite light and mildly dry, good fine minerally carbonation. Light but creamy sweet malts. Hops.. hmm, I have had a few of these offerings with 25 hops or more, the only hop that would ever punch through the others and clearly announce itself was the mighty Sorachi Ace. Here, as in others of its kin, you get a great richness of hop flavour. The citrus is rich and rounded with a touch of lime. The tropical fruits are rich and ripe as are the stone fruits. Pine rides throughout and then some mild hop spice on the end. A nice juicy hop DIPA and the flavour is wonderfully complex-rich. Sometimes, more is more..

Keg at BD Inverurie. It pours cloudy murky blond with a medium fluffy white head. The aroma is musty, dirty, green, weedy, dank, floury bread and dusty. The taste is firmly dry, bitter , green, weedy, dank, earthy, herbal, spicy, chewy, boozey slap, dank, floury bread, boozey warmth and raw with a drying finish. Medium body and moderate, fluffy carbonation. Pretty punchy. Not bad.

Can at home from The Hive, Crowthorne, 28th January 2022. Pours a thick soupy orange yellow. Aroma is mango, tropical fruits, pineapple. Taste is rich, tropical fruits, mango, overripe pineapple, fizzy fruits, raw hops, slightly hot and tongue tingly, then bitter, raw green hops in the finale. It’s super hoppy, not refined but enjoyable
