Brown with a creamy, light beige head. Pleasant aroma full of toffee and hazelnut. Taste is toffee sweet up front, a bit of graham cracker, turns earthy, dry and mildly roasted bitter at the finish. Medium bodied and just a bit watery, which is the only flaw of an otherwise solid brown. Nice!

Caramel sweet with balanced bitterness, not too shabby at all.

On tap at the Wild Wing Cafe in Alpharetta. Pours very dark brown, with a small, off-white head. The aroma is caramel, chocolate pudding, espresso, and burnt toast. Burnt and caramelized sweetness, heavy bitterness, and an odd, funky sour aftertaste. Heavy body, thick, and a little acidic. Overall, this is a strong, almost stout-like, brown ale, but the hopping is a little over the top, and the finish is rather unpleasant.
