Can, very nice pour. Brownish clear looking brew. Nice friendly malty nose. Initial taste is malty as well but its backed up with a slight astringent backdrop. Not too bad but, that slight bitter bite kind of keeps sticking its little head up. If you can get over that, its kind good. Of course this is not really red, but it is a red ale. You know that these 'red' beers are not really red, well at least very few really are. Its a stretch to even call this maroon. Anyway, its not too bad.

Grabbed some random ticks from Total swine after work. Dark mahogany. Nose is light caramel and dark fruit. Tastes of cola, caramel, dark cherry, tobacco and hint of earth. Some malt. Light bitterness some sweetness.

Auburn with a thin, frothy head. Musky aroma full of tobacco smoke and caramel. Taste has a thin, smoky bitterness that lingers through the finish. Dry with hints of clay. Medium body. A touch watery. Not bad.

Light tobacco and some rust. Ok malt complex. Decent drinking but not a ton going on here. OK for style. Fairly clean end. Can.

The description is spot-on. 12 oz. can. Pours a clear dark ruby color with a small beige head and fair retention. No lacing. Faint caramel malt aroma. Taste is caramel malt with a hint of roastiness followed by a short finish. Light body. Flat mouthfeel. Smooth and easy drinking. Drinks like an amber lager/Vienna. Easily repeatable. Simple profile, but I like it.

Taster at the Growler Garage. Pours a clear, red color, with a small, cream head. The aroma is butterscotch, toast, pumpernickel, and walnuts. Sweet and malty, without much bitterness. Light to medium body, with a flat, syrupy, and sticky mouthfeel. Pretty nice.

Om tap-disappearing white (quickly)-amber. A-some sweet med malt-caramel. T-follows with some earthy hops.
