Mild röstiger, süßlich herber Beginn. Leicht bitter, dunkel malzig, trocken. Ok. 10/6/7/6//6

Fresh from Moldova. Thanks Eudochia. Essentially the same beer as the Czech version but brewed under license in Chisinau. Appropriately, tastes essentially the same as my review there, albeit a touch sweeter than that review would indicate.

Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 6 | Flavor - 6 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 6.5

DRAFT at Kozlovna, Chișinău. Dark red-brown, creamy beige head. Very mealy aroma with just a little dark sugars. The taste, on the other hand, has quite a bit of chocolaty and coffee notes and very little proper sugar sweetness. Light hoppy/roasty bitterness in the aftertaste. The body is light, but the suspended haze and fine carbonation more than compensate that.
