Handpull cask at the Drayman’s Son, Ely. Very dark drown, bordering on black. Slight translucency, bit of tan head. Odd smell of salted plums, herbs, sweat, roast malt. Tastes bittersweet and a tiny bit sour with some black cherry notes. Clean shortish finish with of plum wine in the aftertaste. I didn’t like this sadly.
