A quick disappearing white head on a yellow/amber body. A fruity nose, spruce, sweet malt, lemon and a touch of acidity. This is a refreshing quaff. Not much of a sour, though. The dominant taste is fruit cocktail with lemon, melon, grapes and green apples. The spruce buds are there along with a very mild sourness. A solid mouth feel and appropriate carbonation. Goes down AOK.

Hazy yellow pour, no head. Light lemon Aroma, with nice spruce tip hints. Woody vinegar, and strong lactic sourness. Watery mouth feel, very very soft carb. Finish gives off a plastic, almost acetone flavour I’m assuming is from the nasty birch sap. Tart lemon subtly makes its way through, but man this is a mess of a beer.
