Tap@Mikeller & Friends, Copenhagen - Black pour with beige ringed head. Dark roasted and sweet malty aroma with notes of caramel and chocolate, opulent notes of bourbon and cognac coalescing into the close.

Draft @ RateBeer Best 2017. Pours a black color with a small tan head. Has a roasted malty chocolate woody aroma. Roasted malty chocolate herbal woody flavor. Has a roasted malty woody herbal chocolate finish.

From tap at Ratebeer Best festival, Santa Rosa. Black color with beige brown head. Malty aroma, roasted, coffee, chocolate, dark dried fruits, vanilla, spicy - cinnamon, wood, alcohol, bourbon and cognac. Sweet and bitter taste like aroma. Medium to full silky oily body with soft carbonation.

[1/28/17] Bottle/Draught at RateBeer Best festival in Santa Rosa. Black. Winter spices, cocoa, coffee, roast, sweet, chocolate, spicy, a bit of alcohol.

Tap sample at RB Best. Pours opaque black, huge tan head, creamy with great lacing. Aroma is bourbon, chocolate, coffee, cinnamon, marshmallow, hazelnuts, coconut. Flavor is light plus bitter, fully sweet. Full creamy body. I thought this was pretty good.
