Reviewed from notes.
The appearance was a semi-hazy red color with a flimsy film of a little white head. No lace.
The aroma stifled in some sweet honey, grassy hops and a little bit of pine. Light toast/cracker-like malt backbone, some caramel/toffee malts. Super light earthiness.
The flavor tried to blend the sweet to the bitter, but ended up leaning towards the sweet side initially. Light aftertaste of the malts with the same sort of finish.
The feel was about medium bodied with a decent sessionable quality about it. Wanted to be smooth, but there was some hop resistance, it wasn’t burdensome, but noticeable.
Overall, I’d like to say they were trying for an English styled IPA and for the most part, I think they accomplished this. Wouldn’t mind having again to see if my thoughts change.

A lightly hazed amber ipa with a thin white head. In aroma, sweet fruity caramel malt with loads of dark honey, light cinnamon, grassy hops, very nice. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity malt with cinnamon character, light mineral notes, grassy British hops, nice and smooth. 6.5%.
