Pours a golden colour with a small off-white head with minimal lacing. Peppery nose with fruity malts, caramel and some minty notes. Hints of wet socks as well. The taste is peppermint with light grain. Light sourness in the finish. After time, this disappears and ginger candy shows up. The pepper does get better with time, lingering. Just something a little odd overall (with the wet socks).

A hazed blonde lager with a thin white head. In aroma, loads of black pepper and smooth crisp biscuit malt, light esters, very nice and smooth. In mouth, a nice biscuit malt with loads of black pepper, lighter bodied than expected, but nice. Cask at Caskapalooza Ottawa 2016.
