330ml can at Paus Craft Beer Bar, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a hazy golden orange colour with a lasting frothy white head. The aroma is toffee caramel malts, light citrus. The flavour is moderate bitter, light sweet, with a smooth, rich, light grapefruit citrus, sweet caramel, light woody hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation. Has some body for sure and plenty going on.

Sauce Brewing Extra Hop Sauce West Coast IPA 6.2% Clear copper-orange in color with a thick light beige head and an aroma of overripe tropical fruits. Medium bodied and smooth with a banging flavor of bright vibrant tropical fruits like guava and mango. Canned in early January but this is tasting super fresh and spot on.

(Can) Pours hazy amber with decent white head. Nice aroma of pine with caramel and citrus notes. Medium body with excellent mouthfilling soft carbonation. Taste is hop driven but nicely balanced with some subtle caramel malt. There’s some good bitterness in the finish. Very nice.

Can. Hazy amber. Bold passionfruit notes. Lovely, balanced but bolshy combo of pine and juice. Yet another super solid effort from one of my favourite Sydney brewers.

375mL can, pours a cloudy darker orange with a medium beige head. Aroma brings out bright piney hops upfront, with an earthy character, and bready malt. Flavour is rather dull, with a more earthy hop character, followed by bitter pine, and bready malt. A rather dull, earthy hop character that isn't very satisfying. Meh.

From a 375ml can on 3/11/2017. Pours a hazy dark golden with a medium head. The nose is balanced with equal part caramel malt and fruity hops. The balance continues in the flavour - there's a big malty backbone with caramel and toast, followed,by a good dash of sweet citrus and stone fruit. The hops are big - herbal, with some rye and resin, really coating the mouth. Medium bodied with moderate to average carbonation. It actually feels bigger than 6.2%. Certainly bears more than a passing resemblance to its big brother, the wonderful Mega Hop. This is a really tasty, impressive malt driven IPA. Just lovely.
