What happens when you combine a sessionable sour beer with a healthy dose of fruit forward hops? Dry Hopped Provincial is a wonderfully delicious combination of the floral flavor and aroma of hoppy beers with the succulent tartness of a sour. The perfect beer to enjoy on a hot summer day. Notes of citrus with floral aromas.

Bottle. Dry grapefruit peel, grass, lemon, and biscuit malt aroma. Cloudy pale yellow with minimal head. Moderately sweet citrus, biscuit malt, mildly sour citric acid, and mildly bitter hay flavor. Good body. Nice.

On tap at the Raven Cafe, Prescott, AZ. A pale straw colour with a ring of white head; gooseberry aroma, rather like a NZ Sauvignon Blanc; crisp wine-like taste, with some tart green apple; but very drinkable, sour but mellow, very good.

On tap at St Augustine's, pours a cloudy yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out floral dry hopping upfront, with biscuity malt and some noticeable hoppy astringency. Flavour brings out a nice funky quality to it, with lovely citrus dry hopping upfront, a big lacto punch and dry biscuity malt. Tastes better than it smells. Nicely done.
