Sampled at Brother’s Beer Bistro. Dark brown colour with a beige head and light lacing. Crazy rum barrel aromas with banana notes, caramel and fruits. Not as present in the taste, or better balanced I should say. The stout part comes out in the finish. Hints of wood in the aftertaste. Tart/wood mouthfeel. Interesting rum barrelled stout for fans of rum. Thankfully, it was a 6oz. sample, as would of been too much to have a full pint. Also, was with nitro, which was a nice added touch.

A deep dark imperial stout with a thick frothy lacing dark brown head. In aroma, sweet fruity chocolate malt with light alcohol burn, sweet vanilla extract, very light , nice. In mouth, a sweet fruity chocolate malt with coffee grind, musty character, light woody notes, alcohol warmth, a bit light but nice. On tap at Brother’s Beer Bistro.
