Barley Wine

A lightly hazed orange amber barleywine with a thin creamy mocha head. In aroma, nice fruity caramel malt with vinous notes, light floral hops, light musty character, pleasant. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity caramel malt with light vinous notes, light surranated hops, smooth alcohol warmth, very nice and warming.

Sample, 4-ounce, cask, during the Oktoberfest des québécois, savoured on September 7 2013; eye: caramel with an orangey hue, hazy, tiny ring of beige head, slight lacing; nose: orange, citrusy, tangerine, malt, slight residual sugar; mouth: orange, citrusy, tangerine, malt, slight residual sugar, semi-dry finale in orange with light presence of malt, medium body, below-average carbonation, quite bitter, slightly sweet, lightly harsh texture; overall: fine FRANÇAIS Échantillon, cask, 4 onces, lors de l’Oktoberfest des québécois, savourée le 7 septembre 2013; œil : caramel avec une teinte orangée, voilée, petit anneau de mouse beige, très légère dentelle; nez : orange, citrique, tangerine, malt, très léger sucre résiduel; bouche : orange, citrique, tangerine, malt, très léger sucre résiduel, finale semi-sèche en orange avec légère présence de malt, corps moyen, carbonatation sous la moyenne, pas mal amère, très légèrement sucrée, texture légèrement rugueuse; en résumé : bien
