Growler from the brewery. Very dark red pour, with a large slightly beige head. Aroma upfront is quite earthy, but as it settles and warms it gets quite fragrant. Lots of sweet citrus zest, and subtle spicy hops. The malts are chewy, and slightly nutty with a slight sweetness. Finish is medium to highly bitter, a touch astringent with a nice floral yet still earthy hoppy finish.

On tap at Whiprsnapr, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma reveals gentle piney hops, some resins, and biscuity malt. Flavour is pretty laid back, with a muffled, earthy hop character and biscuity malt backbone. The hop expression isn't great — rather muffled and lacking vibrance. Not too impressive.

Can at the Loon and took picture. Pours a hazy golden-amber colour with a foamy beige head, nice retention and good lacing. Grainy aromas with decent hops and mild caramel. Mild fruity malt taste with grassy notes. Mild bitterness with a little dryness. A nice fruity IPA with enough bite, but not a hopbomb, which is nice to have nowadays.

A golden ipa with a thin white head. In aroma, nice biscuit malt with grassy floral hops, resinous and piney, very nice. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity malt with light citrus pulp, very nice and smooth floral hops, grapefruit, very nice. Bottle at brewery.
